Flying from Borobudur to Bali

Another leg south of the equator.

The many islands of Indonesia are amazing, but Java is the most well known one and along the way we saw a number of volcanoes and many of them are active.

This is a part of the world we her the ground move on a regular basis.

Our Borobudur guide, Didit told us about the loss of his house and a number of his neighbors in the last earthquake.

This is what you see from the plane:

And this in the plane on the G1000

The flight was simple enough, but the arrival in Bali was dense, and guess what we were given another hold...this must be the 14th one since we started the journey. Standard right turn and direct entry, but fast about 185 its, since we were number #9 for landing and we had airline above us going the same, Our initial altitude was 9000 feet.

man did we negotiate shortcut on this route!

But the "Flight Plan enroute" gave us another understanding of the wording, while rolling and passing 70kts on the runway we were told to execute the SID ( Standard Departure) ...I had it program in the G1000...but it would had been easier ifv we ere told before starting the roll.

No we did not get lost and yes we had to do a holding over Kuta
