Our home in Borobudur is the Aman Jiwo from Aman Resort.
The name mean peaceful soul...It must be because we had a 2 hours drive from the Solo airport, not the closest one, but the only one we could use since the main airport here is under renovation and close to parking for tangent aircraft.

The hotel is shape like the Borobudur temple
sitting on the side of a mountain, it is a mystic place
the room..I should say suite are very comfortable
we were welcome by girls throwing rose petals a us.
But this nothing compare to the beauty and uniqueness of the Temple of Borobudur. Some of us decided to do the morning sunrise experience with a wake up call at 0430 am....a little rough but certainly worth the experience.
yes 4:30 is early and it is very dark outside. at least the direction are welcoming, but misleading I never saw the Candi Temple

Really great perspective and the advantage of the early start is the fact that nobody is on site
