On our way to Santorini from Malta

Amazingly this is the longest over water so far on the journey

But in sight of land all the time and great weather with the AJ Moto:  "Tail Winds and Blue Skies"

The handling is Malta was perfect and our friend Kostas had everything set up for us on arrival.

On departure a SID was assign and then cut short by a direct to the boundaries and then Athena Control gave us direct to destination, we could not get anything better.....except....there was a military traffic in Santorini and we were assign guess what a "Hold" this is Hold # 8 on the journey....the only thing I can say if that we are getting better.....but I need Paul Sanchez headway on setting up a hold in the G1000, non published with a 75 second warning flying at 365 kts in the descent.....learning every day

the sight on arrival was great at the airport:

Nice view and set up after canceling IFR but not before one full hold

I took advantage of the ladder to take a nice shot of the 3 Mustang RTW

N700Kn, might be a tad slower but at a great fuel advantage, on this leg about 30% less

We also need to fuel for our spirit and we have a great local choice here.

A little local taste on our Journey, after tasting the wine above we were all set for a little bit of local dancing.

Our hotel for this stop are Grottos caves

Santorini is one beautiful place with a great mix of color and plants

Dinner at the hotel under a fantastic sunset

Louis-Alain tender

Doug new Flip Flop direct from Italy with the Gucci logo and about the price of a Full top off on the Mustang....he is not over the price yet and told me he will shut down the engine (only one of them) at cruise to keep the RTW budget in line.
