A visit of Taipei the capital of Taiwan

We did learn a lot on the Republic of China, which is not part of the People Republic of China.

It was returned to China in 1945 at the end of the second world war after 50 years of Japanese occupation and all was done under the leadership of Tchang Kaï-chek or Jiang Jieshi

He was the second president of the People Republic of China. When Mao started his long march in 1945 it ended in 1949, Tchang Kai Chek escape to Taiwan and set up his Republic there with the hope to be returning to main land China within 2 years...It never happened

There is a mausoleum in Taipei dedicated to him, but he is not buried there, he wanted to be buried in his native town in main land China and he is waiting.

The visit of the town prove to be very interesting.
